A co-worker just showed me a great option for a thesaurus. It’s called Thinkmap Visual Thesaurus. A very cool looking java application that has provides some funky animation while you are looking up words that have the same meaning as “jackass”. I was able to find some great adjectives for my co-worker. You can try out a few words for free, but most of the content requires a purchase or subscription.

An alternate solution is the thesaurus offered at reference.com. It doesn’t look as fancy, but it’s free! It also returns results from various other websites. I was able to get even more great adjectives for my co-worker here.
